Police officials foster Labrador after owners get jailed

Faith has been restored in humanity once again! Sultan, a fawn coloured Labrador Retriever, has now been taken in by the police officials at the Choti Bajaria police station in Bina, Madhya Pradesh. The Labrador was initially home to a family, whose owners were put behind bars for the alleged killing of family members over a property dispute, on June 21.

Unfortunately, the pooch had to bear the brunt whilst the mayhem broke out. However, just a few days after the arrest, Manisha Tiwari, a police officer stationed at Choti Bajaria, found out about the dog’s mishaps and immediately adopted him.

When speaking to The Indian Express, Manisha said that “Five people were killed by the owners of the dog. There was no one to look after the dog and that is why he is here. We are providing food and water to Sultan,”

She even tried to seek help from the nearby vicinity, to find a good home for Sultan. But due to the negative responses received, Manisha has decided to take care of this canine and provide a roof over his head for as long as she finds him a loving and accepting household.
