A resident in Ontario had been robbed last week. Post the robbery, the owner of the residence has pasted a plea request with a note, requesting the thief who robbed his house to keep everything from the loot, except the photographs of his dog that died a few weeks ago. The picture of the plea note which was pasted to a lamp post went viral on the social media platform, Facebook. It was shared by Saoirse Morgan, who snapped the note on the tree in Bloor and Lansdowne in Ontario.
Photo taken at Bloor and Lansdowne. This is simply heartbreaking. I hope this person does the right thing.
The note read, “To the man who was in my house and robbed me. Keep the cash, and my DSLR, and whatever else you took. But if you have the memory card from the camera, please, it has photos of my dog’s last day alive on it. I cannot replace those photos. Please throw the memory card onto the porch or put it in the mail slot. Or mail it. Please! She died a few days ago. I cannot lose those photos as well.” Along with the note, the pet owner also added his residential address as well as his contact number for the thief to contact him.
The victim doesn’t intend to punish or confront the thief, however, all he wants is the photos of the dog that died a few days ago, reports India Today. Morgan wrote on his post along with the picture, “this is simply heartbreaking. I hope this person does the right thing”.
